QUESTA È CASA SHAKESPEARE.

Siamo un centro di produzione e innovazione teatrale, e il punto di riferimento per il teatro shakespeariano a Verona. Scriviamo, mettiamo in scena e produciamo teatro in

lingua inglese e in italiano, ispirato ai grandi temi universali esplorati da William Shakespeare nelle sue opere.

Per farlo, abbiamo fondato una casa. La casa di Shakespeare.

Casa Shakespeare produces plays and puts the “theater making” in the service of the territory, the touristic promotion and social growth. We are not “using” Shakespeare but we are trying to be “of use”, promoting what he created thinking of this city, spaces and territories. Casa Shakespeare sees itself as an instrument to make Verona an European Shakespeare Centre: 

• to investigate how Shakespeare's poetry is reread in different European languages and what effects his poetry had in different cultural backgrounds, in what way he contributed to the common European thought. 
• to develop a Common European Culture conceived by great thinkers and authors (Dante, Cervantes, Moliere)
• to develop common policies to promote the territory 
• to confront other realisations of Shakespeare’s plays

For this reasons we organize meetings, encounters, festivals and events for gatherings in Verona and Veneto for people of Europe.

Our mission is the promotion of Verona as Shakespearian city and the Veneto as Shakespearian region par excellence, through theatrical practices, for the diffusion of the Common European Culture. 

To realise this mission innovative ways of synergy with the region, it’s artisanal products, architecture, nature and enogastronomy will be applied also using new digital technology. 

Shakespeare, like other great poets, authors and thinkers, was a determined element in the creation of the Common European Culture. To deepen its knowledge, compare each others approaches and recognize the common roots is the instrument of the awareness for a common development which embraces the European Community. 

In this Verona and the Veneto enjoy an unique privilege: Shakespeare has imagined it as a setting for five of his plays, giving it an international role in his poetry. 

Casa Shakespeare Social Enterprise wants to value this privilege taking on the task of promoting the binomes Verona/Shakespeare and Veneto/Shakespeare, making it a point of reference for culture, tourism and innovative proposals.

Casa Shakespeare stellt das “Theater machen” in den Dienst der Region, sowohl zur touristischen als auch zu sozialen Zwecken. Wir versuchen nicht Shakespeare “zu nutzen” sondern uns der Vermittlung seiner Werke und dessen was im Gedanken an die Städte, Orte und Gebiete geschaffen wurde, zu widmen. 

 Casa Shakespeare sieht sich als ein Instrument um Verona zu einem europäischen Shakespearezentrum zu machen:

• um zu entdecken wie Shakespeares Poesie in verschiedenen europäischen Sprachen gelesen wird, welche Effekte sie je nach Bräuchen und Praktiken entfalten kann und  auf welche Art das zu dem gemeinsamen europäischen Gedanken beitragen kann.

• um eine gemeinsame europäische Politik zur Förderung des Gebiets voranzutreiben

• Um zu einer gemeinsamen europäischen Kultur die großen Denkern (Dante, Cervantes, Moliere, Goethe) zu verdanken ist beizutragen.

•  für Begegnungen mit anderen shakespearianischen Realisierungen 

Aus diesen Gründen organisieren wir Meetings, Begegnungen, Treffen, Festivals und Events in Verona, und im Veneto für Leute aus Europa. 

Casa Shakespeare als soziales Unternehmen: Unsere Mission

Förderung Veronas als Shakespearianische Stadt und des Venetos als Shakespearianische Regions par excellence, durch die Praxis des Theaters, für die Verbreitung der gemeinsamen europäischen Kultur. 

Um diese Mission zu realisieren werden innovative Arbeitsweisen angewandt um die Synergie des Gebiets und seinen künstlerischen Produkten, seiner Architektur, seiner Natur, Weinbau und Gastronomie auch durch die neuen digitalen Möglichkeiten zu verbreiten. 

Shakespeare, wie auch andere große Dichter, Autoren und Denker war ein wichtiges Element in der Bildung des gemeinsamen, europäischen Kultur. Die Kenntnis derer zu vertiefen, sich aneinander zu messen und die gemeinsamen Wurzeln zu erkennen sind das Instrument eines Bewusstseins einer gemeinsamen Entwicklung die europäische Gemeinschaft zu erfassen. 

Hier haben Verona und das Veneto ein einzigartiges Privileg: Shakespeare hat hier die Handlungen von fünf Theaterstücken spielen lassen und erkennt ihnen so eine internationale Bedeutung in seiner Dichtung zu.
